Modern Wedding magazine - To tweet or not to tweet?
Our incredible wedding experience continues to get better with the publication of a feature article about our wedding in Australia's number one wedding magazine.
The latest edition of Modern Wedding magazine, published in June 2011, includes a feature article about our wedding and our use of social media in our wedding plans.
The four page article quotes Michael Korjen and Chantelle Sanza as a "couple who embraced technology every step of the aisle."
The article can be read here in the following PDF document:

The article says "tweeting is fast becoming the latest wedding craze" and notes that "an increasing number of couples are even wanting their day recorded by their guests via Facebook, Twitter and flickr."
“Meet Michael Korjen and Chantelle Sanza. Married in April this year, they organised a destination wedding in Thailand and documented the entire planning process via their self-built website ourwedding2011.com which since launch has attracted over 90,000 viewers from around the world,” the article states.
The article even makes comparisons between the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton and our own wedding.
The article says: As far as Michael is concerned, if Prince William and Kate Middleton can create a website and utilise Facebook and Twitter throughout the wedding day, why shouldn’t anyone else. “They allowed millions of people around the world to be involved in their wedding. If it’s good enough for the Royal family then it should be good enough for any couple,” says Michael.
Modern Wedding journalist Jodi Wilson interviewed Michael for the article in March 2011, a month before the wedding. This is why there were no wedding photos included in the article. Wedding photos are available for viewing here.
A note from Michael and Chantelle: It is an honour to have a feature article written about our special day and have so many people interested in our wedding. This is something special that we will treasure for a long time.
